Introduction

Made Open Tasmania is a social network for communities to take action.

This platform is powered by software provided by Made Open Communications Ltd. The description of Made Open Tasmania's Services must be read in conjunction with our End User Licence Agreement.

 

Definition of project

A Project is a social cause requesting time, money and/or materials to achieve an end goal.

 

Project Acceptance Criteria

You acknowledge that for your Project to be accepted on our website, your Project must:

Add social value to a community, group or individual;

Present a clear goal and measurable end point; and,

Present a clear explanation of how you will use any pledged money, time or materials.

We reserve the right to reject applications or remove Projects which do not meet these acceptance criteria.

A submitted Project may not be accepted onto the site until it has been approved by us. Usually, the period for approval is 72 hours. We reserve the right to obtain a reference prior to accepting a new Project onto the website.

 

The role of Made Open

Made Open Tasmania enables people, groups and organisations to unite, online. The platform invites users to share ideas, make connections, raise money, access volunteers, add offers and requests of time (services) and materials (goods), and form Project teams. Registered users can take joint responsibility for resolving problems and help each other in new ways.

Made Open will occasionally provide tips and other guidance to help users deliver successful community Projects. From time to time we may choose to promote and advertise certain Projects via our associated social media channels. We will not be directly involved in the management of Projects listed on the website.
